Happy new year!
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. Once again, life took me in another direction and I had to take time away from my blog and my website. I'm now coming back to my venture and hope to make greater progress with it this year. My new website will be launched later this month. Being born in the Chinese sign of the Horse, I seem to have a very exciting year ahead of me that is promising progress in my spiritual venture that I've named InnerMe. I look forward to seeing you here, have a fantastic new year too and move with the energy flow!
The Horse will be able to get a great deal done in 2014 and should find that this can be a very memorable year; my one bit of advice for the Horse in 2014 would be to make sure that you do not take others good nature for granted this year as there is a risk of problems caused by people helping the Horse and getting it thrown back in their face. Career for the Horse will be very good this year and they should start to receive recognition for their previous hard work and dedication in the work place and this could help the Horse go very far in their work place this year. There are strong possibilities of promotion for the Horse in 2014 and this could be a few levels up from their current position making a big financial gain on income also.Tuesday, February 21, 2012
Feel good with guided meditation
By: Laurie Raphael, Wed Aug 8th, 2007There are times when we all need to find ourselves in order to feel good about how we succeed and become successful in what ever we want to do. Meditating will help us feel better about how we succeed with everyday life to make better decisions.
When we meditate, our bodies become relaxed but our minds stay alert to what is happening around us or in our imagination. Focus our minds with one thing or using our imagination will lead us to guided meditation for self-development.
Guided meditation is a form of relaxation to finding our inner self to become the person we always wanted to be. Learn to meditate for relaxation to improve or maintain good self-development skills.
Meditating to relaxation lets our mind wander yet we stay alert to succeed. Focus on one thing at a time, rather than allow your mind to wonder after you start to meditate. Be aware of the specific moment with your imagination thoughts. Living for the current moment will help you toward relaxation to relieve stress, prevent pain and have more energy.
You have many options with meditation to explore. Meditation can be done with your eyes closed or open, at work, while exercising or whatever activity you may enjoy doing.
You can meditate when exercising by keeping your mind focused on what you're doing. Let all other thoughts lose and focus on your current activity.
Do not block your current thoughts, rather let them go. You may wander into your past, but that is ok, since here is where you start to learn. Sit and listen to the birds chirp when you start to meditate to help you relax.
Feel the breeze that is blowing in the air and smell the freshness around you. Do block out the stressful day you just had at work or while studying. Thinking and focusing about what your current situation is, will help you to meditation for self-development skills.
Get in touch with yourself by staying alert and focusing to be successful. Meditation will help you to become aware of your thoughts and to feel better about the situation when you are feeling down.
Be in control of a bad situation that you have to make a decision over. Step back and look at what is happening around you. Focusing on the problem and meditating, if for only 2 minutes, will help you to make a better decision. Step forward and jump head first to solving the problem once you have thought and focused on the situation.
You can learn to enjoy smaller things in life by progressing in meditation. Focus on how happy you are at the present with no bills or less floor to sweep living in a small house. What if you had a large home where it might take you ½ hour to sweep the floor compared to the smaller home that would only take you five minutes to do the same job.
Meditation can help prevent illness or make a quicker recovery. Meditation helps you to relax and it take rest and relaxation to heal when we are sick. Relaxing you, mind and body, will keep you happy and healthier with meditation for self-development skills.
Feel good and happy by mediating for self-development skills to relaxation. It doesn't take long to meditate, somewhere between 2 to 20 minutes and no special equipment, location, or money is needed for mediation for better self-development skills.
Don't expect complete results the first time you practice this new skill. You have to reprogram and make changes to stop and focus. Learn to use your imagination, to focus, and relax for self-developing new skills.

Some believe that spiritual is to belong to the church ecclesiastical: lords spiritual and temporal. Others believe that spiritual is on, or consisting of spirit or spiritualist, supernatural or spiritual. So is the spiritual seat of moral or religious nature. Spiritual is that relating to sacred things or matters; religious devotion sacred. Spiritual is that is on the mind or intellect. While we refer spiritual as more spiritual, most spiritual, less spiritual or least spiritual, it means the soul having no body, form, or substance.
The scope of spiritual and spiritual growth is very wide. Spiritual growth refers the personal spiritual development, to develop higher awareness or to develop higher consciousness. Spiritual Growth is the enrichment of one's personal spiritual beliefs through many different means, such as meditation, prayer, positive thinking, virtuous acts and enlightenment. Spiritual growth is a way to integrate spirituality to a higher and higher degree in our daily live.
We can compare human development with the achievement in a particular activity like in economics, accounting etc. This is self growth that we learn from schools and civilization. Self growth automatically acts according to these rights without having to think about it. We refer to this ability in the spiritual growth as awareness or consciousness. Spiritual growth means developing this ability further.
We can compare the human development and the achievement of brilliance in a particular activity. It is self growth of individualism. The spiritual growth is of fundamental rights of existence without having to think about it. Spiritual growth means developing the ability to invoke awareness or consciousness on inner self.
We can use the growth model to represent our spiritual level of consciousness or level of consciousness. We can clearly perceive all that is the sphere, with our common sense and spiritual growth. Outside the sphere of awareness (consciousness sphere) the brightness of our spiritual growth is not enough. The further away something of our sphere of spiritual growth, it is less easy to perceive the spiritual growth. Personal spiritual growth is personal development to enlarge the sphere of consciousness. As such, personal spiritual growth is an integral part of our goal of life.
We constantly hear people talk about the selfishness and soul as if they were interchangeable. Self growth refers to the vehicle by which the selfishness manifested in separation. Spiritual growth refers to the vehicle by which the consciousness manifested in unity. Unity is the key note of the spirit. When we pass from spiritual growth in intellectual development at a time we are in the midst of separation.
Facing our own intellectual nature, to which the word soul must be limited, we both notice it, as they say, the principle of the separation. In the growth of our intellectual nature, we become increasingly aware of the separation of selfishness. This gives rise to all our ideas about the separate existence, separate property of self growth.
It's the nature of spiritual growth which transforms all the great mysteries of world religions,

Self Development and How to be a Winner in life...
Self development experts say that your actions are a true reflection of your thinking. This is to say that your attitude matters a lot. Personal attitude makes all the difference between a winner in life and a loser. It is further said that you can change anything and everything if you change your mind set. What the mind has decided the body cannot defy.
Hence you must never doubt yourself if you want to achieve self development. Failure is the reward for those who have the audacity to demean themselves. If you do not value and respect yourself then no one will respect you. Thus your first step in becoming a winner in life is by admiring your strengths and knowing that you deserve the good things in life.
Nevertheless, confidence and self-assurance are not in themselves adequate. You need to have a plan of action, a strategy for attaining self development. Careful planning, rationality and creativity are the irreplaceable ingredients required at every facet of life in order to achieve success in life. Not forgetting to take action in whatever you set to do.
Many people fail because of not taking action. Therefore, if you have a vision and a good plan remember to strategize on how you are going to act on it. As the say "Procrastination is the thief of time". Hence you will need to do what you can today and not tomorrow if you are to attain self development. In reality 'tomorrow' never comes.
In any case, the best preparation for tomorrow is by doing your best today and with the available resources. Also failure comes sooner to those who wait for the perfect opportunities since they will never come.
To be a winner in life is really therefore a matter of knowing what you want and going right for it. Never hesitate to seize an opportunity; you might pay with your life thus the secret of self development.

A matter of becoming still
By: John Harricharan, Thu Apr 19th, 2007
When I was much younger, I thought that education would be the answer to all my problems, so I went about obtaining degrees. I collected a good number of them including a summa cum laude degree in chemistry and mathematics, and an MBA among others. But I found that my education, even though it helped tremendously, did not bring real satisfaction. So I put the certificates and diplomas in the bathroom under glass and wrote, "Break in Case of Emergency."
Then I started working for Fortune 500 companies and became intrigued with those who frequented the boardrooms of power and fame. And though a part of me was fascinated, thrilled and even enjoyed the trappings of power, there was something that was missing, which I couldn't put my finger on. My heart and spirit were crying out for something that I couldn't find in major corporations.
Still searching for the "Holy Grail" I became an entrepreneur and built a very successful, multi-national business with offices in the United States, the Caribbean, Africa, India and the United Kingdom. Life seemed good. I traveled the world, wined and dined with leaders of industry and even leaders of countries. I was treated as a prince, but still it all felt empty and useless.
Wherever I sought for peace and prosperity and happiness, I'd find prosperity without the peace or I'd discover abundance without the happiness. Finally, one day, as I sat on my wife's deathbed (she was only in her thirties when she died), it became clear to me that my happiness, peace and prosperity were not dependent on anything external, but on that which was within me, that which had always been with me from my very first day on Earth.
So I started to look within me and discovered a wonderland beyond imagination. I realized that the one spiritual practice more important than all the others that could bring me peace, happiness and prosperity was the practice of going into the "silence" deep within me. Some call it meditation or prayer, others refer to it as contemplation or centering oneself. I do not know what it should be called, but I think of it as the "silence".
In the great silence within, I become renewed, refreshed and excited to face the physical world. When I return from my moments of silence or meditation, I feel great waves of joy. I feel peaceful, secure and safe. Perhaps in the depths of my being, there is a place of beautiful silence where I meet my Creator and where I find renewal of body, mind and spirit. Perhaps true success and peace emanate from this silent sanctuary.
Many years ago, I wrote the following: "Whenever problems seem to get the best of me, whenever I feel them closing in on me, I go to a quiet place that lies somewhere in my soul. I do not reason, analyze or think. Those will come later. I simply go.
From this place of silence, I garner strength and inspiration to stand firm in the face of fire, to be calm in the midst of thunder. When I emerge, the world has not changed, but I have. And in changing, a whole new world is born." I find that is as true today as when I first wrote it or thought it. Success, whichever way we define it, whether by money standards, health or happiness standards, is not a game of chance. It springs from deep within us, from our deepest thoughts and beliefs. It has to do with our fears and hopes and it flows eternally from our spiritual center of gravity.
Go into the silence within you. Try to do so a number of times each day. Let your true self speak to you. Listen to the "still, small voice", which is always there. You will find calm, peace and prosperity unknown in ordinary times. You'll find a new and joyous path opening ahead of you and you'll be delighted in the glorious adventures that await around the corner.
