Here's a book your mum may appreciate for Mother's Day
Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can. (John Wesley)

The greatest love of all (Maria Carey)
THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL
(Mariah Carey)
(Mariah Carey)
I believe the children are our future
Teach them all well and let them lead
the way
Show them all the beauty they possess
inside
Give them a sense of pride, to make it
easier
Let the children’s laughter remind us
how it used to be
Everyone’s searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to
I never found anyone who fulfilled my
need
A lonely place to be, so I learned to
depend on me
I decided long ago never to walk in
anyone’s shadow
If I fail, if I succeed, at least I
live as I believe
No matter what they take from me, they
can’t take away my dignity
Because the greatest love of all was
happening to me
I found the greatest love of all inside
of me
The greatest love of all is easy to
achieve
Learning to love yourself is the
greatest love of all
I believe the children are our future
Teach them all well and let them lead
the way
Show them all the beauty they possess
inside
Give them a sense of pride, to make it
easier
Let the children’s laughter remind us
how it used to be
I decided long ago never to walk in
anyone’s shadow
If I fail, if I succeed, at least I
live as I believe
No matter what they take from me, they
can’t take away my dignity
Because the greatest love of all was
happening to me
I found the greatest love of all inside
of me
The greatest love of all is easy to
achieve
Learning to love yourself is the
greatest love of all
And if by chance that special place
That you’ve been dreaming of
Leads you to a lonely place
Find your strength in love
I've learnt
-->
I’VE LEARNT:
- That the
best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person
- That when
you’re in love, it shows
- That just
one person saying to me “ You’ve made my day” makes my day
- That
having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of he most peaceful
feelings in the world
- That
being kind is more important than being right
- That you
should never say no to a gift from a child
- That I
can always pray for someone when I don’t have the strength to help him in
some other way
- That no
matter how serious your life requires you to be , everyone needs a friend
to act goofy with
- That
sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand
- That
simple walks with my father around the block on summer nights when I was a
child did wonders for me as an adult
- That life
is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster
it goes
- That we
should be glad God doesn’t give us everything we ask for
- That
money doesn’t buy class
- That it’s
those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular
- That
under everyone’s hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and
loved
- That to
ignore the facts does not change the facts
- That when
you plan to get even with someone, you are only letting that person
continue to hurt you

You can heal your heart (Louise Hay)
I’m saddened to have lost quite a lot of my
social media friends lately due to their passing into the spirit world. Even
though I’ve known some of them only for a brief time, their loss is felt. I
send them and their families lots of love and light.
If you’re experiencing loss or grief of any kind, this book may help you to deal with it.

Time (Dave Clark and David Soames)
TIME
(Dave Clark and David Soames)
Stand
before me on the sign of infinity. All of you of the Earth.
With
the granting of the law of provenation comes the application of change.
I
will give you the key. And with this knowledge, please realise, comes the
responsibility of sharing it. I will show you the way, its’ very simple.
Throughout
the Universe, there is order. In the movement of the planets, in nature and in
the functioning of the human mind.
A
mind that is in its natural state of order, is in harmony with the Universe and
such a mind is timeless.
Your
life is an expression of your mind.
You
are the creator of your own universe, for as a human being, you are free to
will whatever state of being you desire. Through the use of your thoughts and
words.
There
is great power there.
It
can be a blessing or a curse, it’s entirely up to you. For the quality of your
life is brought about by the quality of your thinking.
Think
about that.
Thoughts
produce action. Look at what you are thinking. Se the pettiness and the envy
and the greed and the fear and all other attitudes that cause you pain and
discomfort. Realise that the one thing you have absolute control over is your
attitude.
See
the effect that it has to all around you, for each life is linked to all life and
your words carry with them chain reactions, like a stone that is thrown into a
pond.
If
your thinking is in order, your words will flow directly from the heart,
creating ripples of love.
If
you truly want to change the world, my friend, you must change your thinking.
Reason is your greatest tool. It creates an atmosphere of understanding, which
leads to caring, which is love.
Choose
your words with care. Go forth with love.

The four agreements (Don Miguel Ruiz)
Explain God
One of God’s main jobs is making people. He makes them to replace the ones that die so there will be enough people to take care of things here on Earth. He doesn’t make grown ups, just babies. I think because they are smaller and easier to make. That way, He doesn’t have to take up His valuable time teaching them to talk and walk. He can just leave that to the mothers and fathers.
God’s second most important job is listening to prayers. An awful lot of this goes on since some people, like preachers and things, pray at times besides bedtime. God doesn’t have time to listen to the radio or TV on account of this. Since He hears everything, not only prayers, there must be a terrible lot of noise in His ears, unless He has thought of a way to turn it off. God sees everything and hears everything, which keeps Him pretty busy. So you shouldn’t go wasting His time by going over your parents’ head asking for something they said you couldn’t have.
Atheists are people who don’t believe in God. I don’t think there are any in Chula Vista. At least there aren’t any who come to our church.
Jesus is God’s Son. He used to do all the hard work like walking on water and performing miracles and trying to teach the people who didn’t want to learn about God. They finally got tired of Him preaching to them and crucified Him. But He was good and kind like His Father and He told His Father that they didn’t know what they were doing and to forgive them and God said OK. His Dad (God) appreciated everything that He had done and all His hard work on Earth so He told him He didn’t have to go on the road anymore, He could stay in heaven. So He did. And now He helps His Dad out by listening to prayers and seeing things which are important for God to take care of and which ones He can take care of himself, without having to bother God. Like a secretary, only more important, of course.
You can pray any time you want and they are sure to hear you because they got it worked out so one of them is on duty all the times.
Y
ou should always go to church on Sunday because it makes God happy and if there’s anybody you want to make happy, it’s God. Don’t skip church to do something you think will be more fun, like going to the beach. This is wrong! And besides, the sun doesn’t come out at the beach until noon anyway.
If you don’t believe in God, besides being an atheist, you will be very lonely because your parents can’t go everywhere with you, like to camp, but God can. It is good to know He’s around you when you’re scared in the dark or when you can’t swim very good and you get thrown into real deep water by big kids. But you shouldn’t just always think of what God can do for you. I figure God put me here and He can take me back anytime He pleases. And that’s why I believe in God.

Feng shui (Denise Linn)
From one of my early spiritual teachers, this wide-ranging and fascinating book by Feng Shui expert Denise Linn shows how to create environments of harmony, spiritual balance and great beauty. Part One explains how to develop your intuition to understand the deeper meaning of your home. This includes tips on dowsing, finding the hidden message of your surroundings, and how to deal with clutter. Part Two, the author presents little-known information on how to activate the dynamic forces of nature within your home in order to revitalize your physical and spiritual health. In Part Three, you gain an understanding of the ancient tradition of the Native American Medicine Wheel and teachings on the four cardinal directions, allowing you to bring energy and spirituality into your home-and into your life. Going much further than conventional works on Feng Shui, this unusual and practical book is a comprehensive look at both centuries-old techniques and the latest research. It shows how to create a domestic or professional environment where your soul is nurtured so that you can be 'at home' wherever you are - and at home with the universe.
